What we are building
We do not manufacture vehicles or write the automated driving system. Tesla does. Neolink’s job is consulting for local operations in Kansas City: hosting, cleaning and charging vehicles, a published service area, insurance landscape, regulatory compliance landscape, and coordination with first responders.
Human safety comes first. Vehicles will likely start by having designated pickup and drop-off points around the city, then as the vehicles, the software, insurance, and Missouri and local rules allow, that could open up further.

The first service area we are preparing for is the airport-to-downtown corridor—not the whole metro. Hours, weather limits, and exact pickup points will be published before any services would be offered.
Vehicles
Tesla robotaxi Model Y and, later, Cybercab
Tesla’s current robotaxi fleets in other cities use Model Y vehicles and are starting to use the new Cybercab. Cybercab is Tesla’s purpose-built, two-passenger robotaxi with no steering wheel or pedals. We forsee the use of Hardware 4+ Model Y vehicles first, and thenn Cybercabs as Tesla hopefully begins to sell them to fleet operators. Neither vehicle is in robotaxi service in Kansas City today.

Where we are today
Today Neolink is performing research and development using one company-owned Tesla Model Y (Hardware 4) in Kansas City as an operations lab—cleaning, charging, airport delivery routing, and local demand forcasting. It is not robotaxi service and is not booked in Tesla’s Robotaxi app.
What we are not saying
This site is not an offer of autonomous rides, a Tesla endorsement, or a claim that Missouri has licensed a robotaxi network. Unsupervised driving, where Tesla enables it, is SAE Level 4 operation inside a defined operational design domain. It is not “drive anywhere.” Pricing, including any surge or airport fees, will be set by Tesla and by airport or city rules when service exists.
